As refugees, internally displaced persons, and war-affected populations brace for their second winter since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Casa Ucrania Foundation is stepping up its efforts to provide targeted assistance during the winter period from December 2023 to February 2024.

Winter Assistance Campaign Overview:

Casa Ucrania Foundation has identified 1,850 vulnerable, displaced, and war-affected people in Ukraine and 80 new refugee families in Spain who urgently need assistance. To support these families and children, we aim to raise 989,000 EUR.

Funding Needs:

Cash assistance remains the preferred method to meet winter needs, covering electricity and rent. In cases where cash assistance is not possible, Casa Ucrania and partners will distribute heaters, non-food items, medicines, warm clothes, heating appliances, and other supplies to help families maintain warmth, safety, and dignity in their homes.

Winter Response Plan Highlights:

  • 1000 people will receive cash assistance for winter energy costs.

  • 850 people will receive housing and insulation assistance.

  • 800 people will be provided with non-food winter goods.

  • 750 people will receive care and maintenance of collective plots.

  • Strengthened protection referral work with a focus on psychosocial support and legal aid.

  • Infrastructure and heating support for more than 30 public places in Ukraine.

  • In Spain, 80 families with children will receive additional cash assistance.

Casa Ucrania Foundation, in collaboration with partners, is actively involved in the Interagency Plan for Winter Preparedness in Ukraine and is a key participant in the Winter Response Plan for Ukraine. Your support can make a significant impact on the lives of these families and children. Donate today to ensure a warmer and safer winter for those in need.
