Emergency Accommodation and Assistance
If you've just arrived in Barcelona and find yourself in need of emergency accommodation or other basic necessities, look no further than the CREADE (Reception, Welcome, and Distribution Centre). Located at Carrer Sant Fructuós, 80, this center opens its doors from 8.30 am to 3 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Please note that it remains closed on weekends and public holidays. Basic Social Care
Official residents of Barcelona seeking basic social care can schedule appointments with the Municipal Social Services. You can reach them at 900 922 357 (freephone) or 936 197 311. They are available from Mondays to Thursdays, 9 am to 7 pm, and Fridays, 9 am to 4 pm. In case of emergencies outside these hours and on public holidays, head to the CUESB (Barcelona Social Emergency and Urgent Care Centre), situated at C/ Llacuna, 25. Reach them at 900 703 030.
Legal Advice on International Protection
If you require legal advice regarding international protection, such as asylum and refuge matters, the SAIER - Care Service for Immigrants, Emigrants, and Refugees can assist you. Find them at Carrer de Tarragona, 141. They operate from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 2 pm, and Fridays, 10.30 am to 2 pm.
Registering as a Resident
For those destined for Barcelona and in need of resident registration, simply dial the freephone number 010, and you'll be provided with an appointment to guide you through the process.
Enrolling in Schools
Families registered in Barcelona or awaiting temporary protection can enroll their child/children in the city's primary or secondary schools.
